LEGO┬« Bricks & More Builders of Tomorrow Set - This Lego set is a great beginner set or a good addition to an existing Lego collection.  The 650 piece set includes bricks in a variety of colors and sizes as well as ideas.  Making it extra fun, you can go to the Lego link here and download a new project every month to do with the kit!   Ages 4 and up.


Snap Circuits Kit - There is lots of fun to be had with a Snap Circuits Kit.  Kids can do hundreds of projects including lighting up light bulbs, making a door bell ring, and making a flying saucer.  A truly educational boy toy.  This kit inspired a love of how things work in my son.  Recommended age is 7 and up.

Ultra Stomp Rocket - A fun and expensive toy for boys of any age.  This stomp rocket can be used inside but is even more fun when you use it in an outdoor setting like a park.  Stomp on the launch pad and see how high you can make the foam rockets fly.  It's possible to make them go 200 feet or more in the air.


Scientific Explorer My First Dinosaur Science Kit - A fun science kit for boys who love dinosaurs.  Also a great first science kit.  Recommended for ages 4 and up, boys can excavate their own dinosaur with this fun kit.  Also includes a few other dinosaur themed activities.


Remote Control Helicopter - This helicopter works amazingly well, especially considering it's low price.  Boys will have a lot of fun steering their own remote control helicopter around the house.  Because of it's delicate nature, this toy is probably best for boys ages 7 and up.  


Automoblox - Take these fun wooden cars apart, mix up the pieces and put them back together in another way.  Kids will have fun making new car creations with the pieces.  Each car comes equipped with it's own unique VIN number.  These cars are well made and solidly built using German beechwood.  Because of small pieces, they are best for boys that no longer put things in their month, usually 3 and up.


Lincoln Logs - A hundred years later and boys still love these fun building toys.  Because of the easy way they stack, they are a good beginning builder toy for boys.  The set shown here is a good beginner set with 86 pieces and storage tin.   This toy is great for ages 3 and up.


Playmobil - Playmobil play sets are amazing fun for boys.  Throw in some water and you have a guaranteed hit with boys.  That's why this water park Playmobil set is one of my boys' favorite toys.  The set comes with people and lots of fun accessories.  Lots of opportunity of creative play and doesn't require batteries!  Recommended for ages 4 and up.


Melissa & Doug Car Carrier - Simple but fun, this wooden car carrier from Melissa and Doug is a great toy for car loving boys.  Comes with four cars that you can load on to the carrier by driving them up the ramp.  Recommended for ages 3 and up.


PlasmaCar - A fun riding toy for boys that requires them to use their body to make it go.  Twist the handle back and forth and use your upper body strength to make it move.  Recommended for ages 3 and up.


ZOOBMobile Car Designer - A fun building kit that lets kids design and build their own vehicles or follow the included plans to build one of the many models shown.  Contains 76 pieces including wheels and Zoob pieces that allow you to make movable creations.  Recommended for ages 6 and up.



Green Toys Dump Truck - Every little boy should own a dump truck and this one from Green Toys is not only fun, but also eco-friendly.  It's made from recycled milk jugs and doesn't contain BPA or phathalates.  Recommended for ages 1 year and up.


Wild Planet Hyper Dash - A fun toy for active boys to burn off some energy with.  Use the battery operated tagger to tag the targets you set up around your house or yard.  Several different ways to play, the tagger will shout out numbers or colors of the targets to tag.  Play alone or compete against other players to see how fast you can do it.  Best for boys ages 5 and up.


LEGO Creator Log Cabin - Boys love LEGO and some of the best kits are the Creator kits because they give you plans to create 3 different models with one kit.  That's the case with this Log Cabin kit.  Best for ages 7 and up.



KidKraft Deluxe Garage Set - Does you little boy need somewhere to play with all those toy cars he owns?  This Kidkraft toy garage is the perfect place to do it.  Compatible with die cast cars but the set also includes wooden vehicles as well as other accessories.  The garage features three levels of parking, a helipad and helicopter, car wash, toll booth, gas pump, and auto repair garage. Recommended for ages three and up.



iPlay Deluxe Build A Road - With the iPlay Build a Road set, you little one can build their race track with the flexible pieces and then race the two battery operated cars that come with it. The set includes over 20 feet of track, tunnels, a turn about, and multi directional connectors. Kids can build the track numerous different ways and then race their cars around it. EZ-Fort - Do you boys love to build forts? Mine do. They get a lot of play out of our EZ Fort kits. The EZ Fort includes spheres with holes and poles in different lengths so that kids can build a variety of fort structures. When my kids are done making theirs, I throw a blanket or bed sheet over their and they hang out in their fort all day long. Recommended ages are 3 and up.
