Cool Boys Birthday Gifts for Under $15

Whether you are looking for some boys birthday gifts for your children or their classmates, here's a list of toys that are fun, cool, and won't break the bank.

Stomp Rockets - This award winning toy seems to always be a hit with kids, young and old.  One of those fun, no batteries required, kid-powered toys that will continue to hold their interest no matter how much they play with it.

Set up the launch pad, insert the foam rocket, and stomp on it to send the rocket flying as much as 200 feet in the air.  A junior version of the toy, geared toward younger kids, sends the rocket up to 100 feet in the air.

Stomp Rockets Junior is recommended for ages 3 and up, the Ultra Version is geared toward older kids but younger ones are able to enjoy it as well.

Monster Feet - Stompers are a fun alternative to traditional stilts for younger kids.  This set made by Toysmith has a fun monster theme to them, perfect for boys!

Probably best for ages 3 to 8.

 

 

 

 


Melissa and Doug Giant Fire Truck Floor Puzzle - My sons own several Melissa and Doug puzzles and this is a favorite of both my 6 year old and 2 year old.  This puzzle is absolutely beautiful and they always have fun putting it together.

Melissa and Doug makes many other great puzzles that are under $15 also from wooden puzzles for toddlers, to more floor puzzles and regular sized sets with 48, 100, 200, and even 300 pieces.  All of them make wonderful gifts.

 

 

 

 



Animal Yahtzee - A fun kid version of the popular game Yahtzee, this version made by toy maker Haba features animals on the dice.  Kids must count how many animals they get.

This cute game is nice and portable.  Everything stores neatly in the tin cup that doubles as a storage container.

Recommended for ages 5 and up.  Retails for around $13.
