If your child loves building toys as well as playing with cars, this toy will provide them with both.  The recommended ages for this toy is 3 to 6 but when my 4 year old received it for his birthday, my 8 year old son happily played with it for hours too. 

This toy has been more fun than I even imagined it would be.  It was the hit of my son's birthday party.  Both the boys played with it together for a few hours that day laughing gleefully everytime the cars went flying.  It has received a lot of attention in the few months since than as well.

The set includes a lot of pieces and the track bends so it is easy to customize and create a new track set up each and every time it is played with.  I think this adds to the toy's appeal since it is new and exciting each time they pull it out.  My boys love to build to they appreciate the challenge that making their own race track presents with this toy.
