Syma Remote Control Helicopter
If you are looking for a remote control toy for your boys, this helicopter is a fun option. The
Syma Remote Control Helicopter is an extremely affordable toy that is well designed and easy to use.
The helicopter is compact in size but not small on fun. It measures about 7 1/2 inches in length and is
less than 4 inches high.
Charging is Easy
You can charge the Syma Remote Control Helicopter by using the USB cable and plugging it into your
computer. You can also charge it through the controller which runs on AA batteries. A half an
hour of charging results in about 8 to 12 minutes of flight time with this toy helicopter.
Fly Inside or Outside
This remote control helicopter can be flown inside or out. It can be flown at distances up to 30 feet
away. Inside the house you will want to be careful about banging it into walls or furniture because it is
rather small. However, you can easily buy a replacement part kit for around $5 should you ever experience an
accident and have a piece break. We own this helicopter in our home and have yet to have a problem with
anything breaking even after a couple of crash landings!
Age Recommendations
The age recommendations for the Syma Remote Control Helicopter is 14 years old. However, as I mentioned,
we own this helicopter and both my 8 and 4 year old sons have both successfully played with it. Supervision
may be necessary for younger kids but they can still have a lot of fun with it. Given we only payed $20 for
this toy and replacement parts are so inexpensive, I am not too concerned with the kids have a potential accident
with it.
Steering
The helicopter has three channels for steering it. You can make it go up and down, left and right, and
forward and backwards. This makes it a lot of fun to fly. It is fairly easy to manuever too.
